The Chinese-Egyptian Farm Machinery Joint R&D Center is a collaborative platform established in October 2017 by the Shandong Academy of Agricultural Machinery Sciences and the Egyptian National Research Center to implement China's Belt and Road Initiative. Overall Positioning: The Center will leverage our Institute's technical strengths in agricultural machinery design, testing, and product promotion, while utilizing the scientific facilities, technical personnel, and influence of the Egyptian National Research Center in agricultural and agricultural equipment promotion across Egypt and the Arab region. It aims to export China's mature agricultural equipment technologies and promote Chinese agricultural machinery products. Overall Direction: The Center is tasked with “developing, researching, and promoting agricultural machinery tailored to Egypt's soil and climate conditions.” It will undertake the mission of “conducting mechanized operation demonstrations in Egypt, showcasing the advantages of Chinese agricultural machinery and implements to farmers, exchanging experiences between China and Egypt in the field of agricultural machinery,” and “extending these efforts to other Arab countries in the future.”
