This foreign aid training program, organized by the Ministry of Commerce and hosted by the Freshwater Fisheries Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences, aims to systematically share China's advanced experience and achievements in aquaculture science and technology development with Francophone African countries. The training workshop typically lasts 14 to 21 days, adopts a combination of online and offline methods, and includes thematic seminars as well as practical field training in locations such as Guizhou Province. Since its inception, the program has successfully provided training for fishery officials and technicians from numerous African countries, including the Republic of the Congo, Benin, Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, and Madagascar, playing a positive role in promoting the growth of Africa's blue economy and the sustainable development of its fisheries sector.
