Current Progress/Outcomes:
During the implementation of the project of the Ministry of Science and Technology Foreign Aid Project (2020-2024), 40 corn combinations were exported and adaptability and drought resistance screening was carried out in Ethiopia, and 5 varieties with excellent drought resistance were finally determined as alternative varieties; the use of bacteria agents for drought-resistant soil microbial fertilizers was developed, and a total of 2 microbial agents were developed, which had the effects of promoting fertilization and drought resistance; the integration of alternative varieties and microbial agents, and a supporting drought-resistant cultivation technology system was constructed based on local actual conditions. The project has received unanimous praise from foreign parties.
