Main Content(Objectives&Activities):
Addressing the technical needs of peanut production in Africa, this project focuses on whole industry chain elements including molecular breeding, cultivation techniques, quality evaluation, deep processing, and equipment R&D. Cooperation with African partners will be carried out in areas such as germplasm resource collection, variety selection, and standardized cultivation techniques to enhance peanut production levels. Through regular mutual visits and exchanges, a multi-channel training mechanism for agricultural technicians will be established to promote China's elite peanut varieties in African partner countries, facilitating varietal updating. Additionally, high-yield and high-efficiency cultivation techniques will be demonstrated and promoted, accompanied by the introduction of supporting agricultural machinery. Efforts will be made to advance the establishment of international platforms such as the "China-Senegal Peanut Industry (Overseas) Technology R&D Center." Online and offline resource sharing platforms will be built to promote efficient mutual access and utilization of resources, integrating scientific research strengths for joint peanut research and extension.
