Main Content(Objectives&Activities):
This study aims to investigate the relationship between gut microbiota and host health in young ruminants, with a particular focus on the role of gut microorganisms in regulating animal health during early development. The early growth stage is a critical period for ruminants, during which the establishment of the gut microbial community is essential for digestive function, immune system maturation, and overall health. Through multi-omics analyses, microbial isolation and cultivation, key metabolite profiling, and animal experiments for validation and evaluation, this study seeks to systematically identify and characterize the core functional microorganisms and their metabolites in the gastrointestinal tract of young ruminants. The ultimate goal is to develop probiotic or compound probiotic products based on these findings.
