Current Progress/Outcomes:
A training workshop on efficient sweet potato cultivation techniques was held in the Bafata province of Guinea-Bisau. 33 local technicians and farmers were trained. The sweet potato cultivar Eshu 17 was selected for promotion in Guinea-Bissau, which effectively alleviates the local food shortage issue.
