The project jointly established a cooperative research center and set up three primary research platforms. Key deliverables include: the collection of 50 distinct peanut varieties and the creation of a foundational database; the development of a software system for processing suitability evaluation and the screening of over 10 dedicated processing varieties; the establishment of 2-3 standardstechnical protocols and 2-3 specialized processing techniques, leading to the development of 2-3 new high-quality products. Furthermore, a comprehensive model for enhancing quality and efficiency across the entire industrial chain will be implemented in Africa, followed by a demonstration application.

SHI AIMIN

This project aims to establish the "China-Africa Joint Research Center for Peanut Quality Evaluation and Processing Utilization." Focusing on the needs of Nigeria and Africa as a whole in these areas, the project will leverage the Center to achieve the following through platform co-development, academic exchanges, technological research, and personnel training: Conduct an analysis of African peanut processing qualities and build a fundamental database, Carry out suitability evaluations for the processing of African peanuts and screen dedicated peanut varieties, Innovate and apply key technologies for the deep processing and quality enhancement of peanuts.
