To establish fingerprint and evaluate genelie diversily of parents of some typically hybrid rice registered in Hubeiand other provinces, 19 varielies were analyzed using 48 SSR markers. Resulls showed that 48 alleles were detected with anaverage of 3.88 per marker ranged from 2 to 7. The average value of loeus polymorphism information content (PIC) was0.501 ranged from 0.266 to 0.792. The fingerprint of 19 varieties were established using 11 SSR markers with higher PICCluster analysis showed that the genetic base of the restorer lines or sterile lines was narow with high average genelic similacoellicient (0.771 and 0.707 respectively). It was remote between them, rellecling posilive correlation between genelic dis.tance and heterosis to some extent. lt will be helpful for selecting parenls in breeding, expanding the genelic basis of cultivated rice and improving rice yield.
